Review:
This was touted as a way to provide no hands reading in the bathtub, but the design does not allow this with anything less than a book as limp as a magazine. There is no way this can be used for books with less than two hands, and a more effective way would be with one hand and the item no where near the bathtub. Sadly I also found no way to return this item so am stuck with it.

didn't know this could be purchased at wal-mart, but it was exactly what I needed for a beach-themed bathroom. it only took a little tug from my child for the holes to give way and rip right off the rings! searched relentlessly for repair tools to make holes 'whole' again, but the glue on them failed. ultimately, hot-glued repair circles to vinyl curtain around holes and they are holding the rings again. if purchasing this item, you might start by reinforcing the holes to prevent ripping.

It went well with my decor.
The top of my vanity sink is marbel so this marbel toilet seat was a perfect match. After remodeling my bathroom, I just needed one more thing to give it a lift and suprisingly this marble style seat did the job and it is very comfortable too.

The marble pattern is only shown on the top of the seat cover it appears when you close the top down but when you open it -- it is just a plain white toilet seat. I think this style is great and functional with its simple classic look, and I love it.

Review:
I bought the two I needed because of the sale price. The best thing is the brass hardware which is less popular these days. This is more light brown walnut stained than oak as it appears in the photo but it is better value for me to get brass fittings, wood and an excellent price than to match my cabinetry. I'm very happy. Thank you, Amazon.

The plastic nuts for the metal screws are extremely fragile for a heavy seat. If the hardware on your older seat are more durable, use them instead of the plastic nuts.
